we got some shows in the works, kiddies. we'll of course be at Ichy's for Big Nate's B-day on 1/18. then it's a stint in Bunkie with Brownsox on 2/1. We head back to Ichy's on 2/28 with Guff and the Cretin Bull Dancers. then we're clear until 3/1 at Tulane in N.O. it's a busy time for J to the G. we're about to record a new "throw out" EP with a few new songs we've got. "new songs 1 - 9" will soon have names and full lyrics. we've got lyrics for new songs 1 - 5 and as we speak, sam is finishing up 6 - 9. then it will be recording time as we prepare for a release of the brand new disc. we're still a pretty good ways away from a full album release though so don't too excited just yet, but it will most definately be neat-o. i told you a while back to get ready for a new web design... remember? well we're working on it. plus, coming soon : loveaffairrecords.com. check every day.

Big Nate's Birthday

that was the total shiznit. props to all you kids who came out to the new years show. it was one of the bset we've played. we even revealed a new song, and guess what - there's more where that came from. next show we're wheeling out to Ich's on Jan. 18 for Big Nate's birthday. NITB, Movin' Weight, and JG will attempt to give Nate the birthday of a lifetime. i'm taking bets that he'll be staggering by 12:30 and he'll be down by 2:30 - 3:00. he's a big guy so he'll last a while. this is gonna be nuts. plus we'll bring some cd's out with us. we're about to record a new sampler with 3 new songs. make sure you skeef that when it comes out.
