To all the emo kids, watching in horror...
thanks to everyone for coming out to see us on friday. in case you missed it, it was probably one of the best shows we ever played. much thanks to sam and trey for hosting one of the absolute best venues in east AND west BR parish. to all the emo kids tht were sort of watching in horror... see? it wasn't so bad. we would like to see you all again if you can make it. we'll be at ichabod's on Feb. 28 for the Eric and Beaver Appreciation Party. The lineup continues to change, but i'll be able to give you total confirmation on that in a week or so.

Love Affair gets all civic and shit
people of earth - hear this!
this friday the 13th, your favorite band EVER will be rocking the 415 club down to the ground. judge genius and the secret black society will be playing at our full potential to bring your ears and eyes a dazzling array of sights and sounds. plus we'll be showcasing what little talent we have at a brand new venue... the 415 Club is right over the mississippi river in sunny port allen. cross the bridge and get off at Lobdell/LA 415 (what a coincidence!). turn right off the exit, drive a little ways and look to your right. thar it is in all it's magnificence. it's fresh and clean, opened not too long ago to cater to GOOD music and touring acts. we need to make a good impression on them so show up in force.
also, for all you civic minded folk who plan to be in baton rouge for awhile, the metro council meets tomorrow to decide on an ordinance giving restaurants the right to serve alcohol curbside. there's a few more particulars, but showing up to let your councilman know how you feel is a way to get your voice heard. click at the bottom to find out who represents you and send them an email. and while your out websurfing and screwing around while you're supposed to be working, check out the austin 6. they're a group of people working to change what's wrong with our city and make it somewhere to go. one of their main projects is branding downtown baton rouge and helping it become more then just a ghost town once the workday is through. some of you i'm sure have noticed just some of thier progress. join up and help the cause.
